When you go to the nail salon you will be offered services like manicures, pedicures, fake nails, gel tips, acrylic, porcelain nails, silk nails, full sets, fill ins, nail wrapping, buffering, polishing, nail repair, nail care, nail conditioning, and even maybe some hand painted nails. Most of those services are used to give your nails a look of being longer and more smooth or perfect.

Hand painted nails is where the stylist becomes an artist. They will do designs or even add a shimmer or sparkle to your nails for a small-added fee. However, do not think that getting your nails done will be cheap. You can pay anywhere from $30-$75 for your nails and over a hundred if you get both your fingernails and toenails done. However, it can be the ultimate way for one to pamper them, but it is not something that most people can afford every week.

Many people do get their nails done on a weekly or monthly basis even though it is expensive. Some people will even go as far as to write it off their taxes because society puts such hype on how we look or present ourselves.

When you go to the nail salon you can go with the traditional French manicure or you can get wild and crazy. If you work in a business setting, you may just want to go with the French manicure or go with something soft and elegant. When it comes to the business world, flashy is not the best way to go. Conservative is what you want to do. If you do choose to go with the wild look or be a bit funky, it could be that you are going to prom or some special dance at school.

Wild is mostly for the young, but when it comes to being professional, the neutral look is best. However, you may go to the nail salon without getting your nails painted or decorated. You can go for a nail treatment so that they are strong and beautiful or get a cuticle treatment. When you get a cuticle treatment, you are allowing the skin near your nails to look its best.

When you go to the nail salon, you usually do not have to make an appointment. Nail salons will even welcome walk INS. You may find that you will have to make appointments if it is part of a hair salon or spa; however, you can usually go to the mall and get your nails done. It is fun to go to the nail salon with your friends. On a Friday night, go with a couple of girls to the mall and get your nails done in funky and creative designs, because who cares! You will have all weekend to wear off the paint and before work on Monday; you can always take the polish off. So go out, go crazy, and have fun with the girls!
