Know what you stand to get from acting on your ideas and goals. Know that if you follow this plan, you will reap the rewards you've always dreamed of. This is "the" motivating factor for and business person. The results. The money. The success. The freedom. It can be difficult, even with motivation, to be as focused as you need to be to succeed. Without focus, the plan will not produce the desired results. The "results" are your opportunity. Remember this often, as it helps to achieve and maintain focus on the tasks at hand.
