Flower deliveries can be tricky, and I know this because I have had bad luck in receiving, sending and even delivering flowers myself. When I was in college I worked for a flower shop for a grand total of four weeks. I wasn't supposed to be doing flower deliveries, but I did a few of them when no one else was around to do it. You can do this more easily than ever thanks to the Internet. You can also use FTD if you don't have access to the Internet when you want to send out flowers, and you can get them delivered almost anywhere in the world. You can get more than flowers delivered as well. There are food, fruit, and gift baskets that most flower companies have now that you can send to anyone you wish.

No matter what your reasons are for having flower deliveries sent out, make sure you follow up on the order. I once paid for a delivery only to find out that they had never sent the flowers, and they were more than happy to keep my money. They ended up giving me a refund with the excuse that the order was stuck in their computer (whatever!), but if I had not checked to make sure they were delivered, I may have never know. If you are ordering flower deliveries for someone who may not right away be able to acknowledge that they got the flowers right away, make sure you call and check up.
