THE PARABLE OF THEN, NOW AND LATER
5 April 2006, Stewart's Creek, By Carl A. Patton
Truth was only seen by those who
could see Jesus. Was Jesus standing
next to the man with eyes to
see?
Meanwhile the man who could see named
John looked back in time. There
he held Truth in his hand. He
also read about Truth.
However the world was then and
few people although seen as
the multitude walked and crawled
the land.
Most then as now rebuked
Truth. Some understood not. Some
cared only for the moment in
time.
But Truth marched on. It still
convinced John that Truth was good,
righteous and the only way to God.
Now the time was upon John as
he thought, he mediated and
pondered. His soul would shake and,
His heart would burn as the
many which were the multitudes
denied and rejected Truth.
Some now became quite skilled at
re-inventing Truth. There were also personal
Truths. They also wrote many
other Books, and claimed Truth was
found there.
But John continued to warn those
that acted as if Truth did
not exist and that Truth came
from one source. This source
Was then, now and later.
John rested in the evening as days had
been long. The road rough and many
trials had he seen. However here his
burden was never too heavy to bear.
Some had listened as he pleaded to
them that soon all would be made
to see. The Truth would have,
A sweet taste but no end and
a bitter ride among everlasting
thorns of fire.
