   How exercising can be fun

The hardest part for many of us in our attempts to become healthier is trying to find the extra time to exercise. This is an essential part of any diet and if your not doing exercise you enjoy then it simple isn't going to keep you interested. However if you can find a style of exercise that fits in with your lifestyle and get some enjoyment from it you are more than likely to carry on and in time do more and more. Maybe the best way to start is in small steps. Exercise which will ultimately help you become fitter and healthier without eating into your life.

Here are just a couple of little tips to get you started in a small way with no need for the expense of the gym.

1. When you are on a day out or even just a trip to the shops try to make longer walking routes,instead of using a shortcut go the long way round. It may take an extra couple of minutes but the extra exercise is invaluable.

2. Always make sure you use the stairs rather than a lift. Every step you take is an energy burner

3. If you catch a bus then get off a stop before your usual one and walk the rest of the way.

4. During the t.v ads do a quick burst of exercise.

5. If you have an exercise bike put it in your living room and use it while watching your favorite program.

If you can put a couple of these techniques into the diet are using then it can make all the difference. Not many us have the time or stamina to go on hour runs around the park but these methods are achievable for everyone. I'm also sure that with a little thought you can come up with your own similar ideas. These methods work because they take little out of your daily schedule and are easy to maintain. Good Luck.
