   Global Warming

Thirty years ago, global warming was considered a joke. People that talked about it were stigmatised as "tree hugers" or simply "freaks" and noone paid much care to signs of global warming. Today, the situation has changed.

Global warming is no longer a joke. Instead, it is a very serious, very active threat that is taken more and more seriously. Because the signs can no longer be ignored. Heat waves, hurricanes, blizzards, melting ice caps, floods, droughts, freak storms. All of these are obvious signs. Signs, that something is diferent. Signs, that something is wrong.

Science is now proving what "tree hugers" and "freaks" have been saying for the last few decades - something must be changed or the world as we know it will come to an end! And doing something, anything, is extremely important. Each person can contribute to reducing global warming. By making small, individual changes, we can make a diference.

But taking the first step can sometimes be daunting. One simply doesn't know where to start. A good place to do so is the GWboards.com community. Full of friendly, educated users, willing to help, GWboard is the place to visit if you plan to reduce your "contribution" to global warming. Join us in the quest for a better tomorow!
