Do you receive notes that appear to contain a zillion >>>>?
These pesky signs are called "angle brackets" and the "greater
than sign." Each angle bracket that appears at the front of a
line of text denotes the number of times that message has been
fowarded prior to it arriving in your mailbox. Below are three
ways you can remove these pesky signs from an email:
Copy the email into a word document program (such as Word). Then
hit edit, then replace. In the find area of the format, put a >
and leave the replace area blank. Then hite replace all. Works
like a charm.
Go to www.jbmckee.com/formatit/ Copy the email into this form.
In the area designated as "filter" put the > and voilá... all
the brackets are gone. Try it for yourself.
Or use this program suggested by it's designer, Theresa King,

Any way you do it... please remove those pesky >>>> before you
forward mail. Your friends and clients will thank you!
