   Black & White

18 Feb 2008 04:37:51
| Ayodeji David Alabi

In elementary years of a life, colors play a signifiant role in the determination of intelligence development. A child begins to recognise colors as a symbol of growth and development in his early life. The more you grow, the more colors you identify. How come our world is distorted and confused because people dont understand colours anymore than they were in the womb?.A foetus responds to light and darkness.

Most people still cant differentiate between the two colors. I have not see a white person in my life. Neither have I seen a person who is black. I even heard some people are red? What absurdity? Except the crayons and color stamps we used in elementary school were false.

It is hig time our generation woke up to the reality that colour and complexion are different things. Even the great Marthin Luther King Jnr. called it "color of their skin". Black and white still remain the most beautiful complimentary colours. Why would it be the basis for racial prejudice?

Your brain is not black (as you call it) neither is yours white (as you refer to it). We live in a world of varieties and these differences should be celebrated. The world can only experience true peace when we tolerate our differences.

To the African man of color, you are not inferior to the man of a different skin complexion. He only does his things with great care and attention to the rules(order). If you borrow that from him, you have all it takes to be better than him.

You are first a spirit and your spirit of a truth is not conquerable.
