   Writing Research Papers

In writing research papers, there are guidelines that need special considerations. These guidelines include; choosing the subject, finding a focus for the subject, finding references, gathering notes, formulating a possible hypothesis, developing an outline, writing the papers per section and revising the work. The mentioned guidelines are essential to write researching papers effectively. In choosing the subject, it should be something that interests the researcher; something that the researcher wants to explore more about. Next is to find a focus for the subject. This provides the researcher of ways to prevent errors in making the papers appear as if they were just compilations of facts regarding the subject. The researcher must have a genuine question at hand in which the facts will provide the answer.

Next step in completing a project proposal is to find references. Libraries have valuable resources of reference materials like books, encyclopedias, articles in magazines and journals. It will be very beneficial if the researcher would record the name of the library as well as the short title of the subject. The researcher also has to include all the essential parts of the reference to make the mechanics of typing much easier.

Gathering notes is one essential step in doing a study document that could also be a part or next to looking for possible references. It would be helpful if the researcher would gather and write notes with his own words to ensure that he understands what he is reading. Formulating the possible hypothesis is the next step in writing the paper. This entails the researcher to think about possible questions or problems as he writes or during his previous experience about the topic that he chose to delve on. Developing an outline comes next. Through developing an outline, a researcher is able to have a control over his data and support the objective. Included in the outline should be the researcher's approach to the study as well as his points of view. The outline shall also serve the purpose to save time in making the study concise especially in the revision stage when the facts will be in the corresponding order as stated in the outline.

Moreover, writing research paper should be in section per section mode. This would help the researcher to avoid having a paper that contains "cut and paste" facts with too many quotations from different sources. He can then revise the paper for clarity, accuracy and most important of all, relevance. He should be able to express the points of view from each paragraph to write them in a single sentence. Lastly, in establishing a researching document, it is also important for the researcher to proofread his work. This will avoid confusion factors among the details in the study as well as for future readers of his work. In preparing the final copy of the paper, be sure to type the paper without any strike overs as well as to double space. This would provide spaces for comments and suggestions subject for approval.
