When you buy software, you are buying a single user license for
that software. There are a number of reasons you would need to
re-install your software, for example, if you purchased a new
computer – as the single user, you would have the right to
install the software on the new machine. When a customer calls
in with a hardware problem, we ask that the software and product
code keys are available when we work on the machine. This way,
after taking care of the problem, we can easily re-install the
software. Software cannot be backed up or copied. The product
code key is found on the back of your case – if the software was
purchased already installed in the computer. If you purchased
software and installed it yourself, the product code key will be
with the software. Save all disks and product code keys in a
large, static free envelope – did you know plastic baggies
create static which can damage computer parts? Remember, save
all software, the paperwork that goes with it – and especially –
the product code keys. Call GEEK FORCE for information about
static free storage. 602-477-8020.
