I am having a good day today. This is the second excerpt on goals today. I had a little spare time so instead of doing nothing I thought I would get part 6 written and out there for everyone to read. Don't forget that while I mainly have used these goals to make my affiliate marketing campaigns successful they do also work in your everyday endeavors. So if your not an on line business person it doesn't matter.
Never Settle For Number Two
If you have a goal of being a driller on a drilling rig then don't settle for being a rough neck. You know you have the desire and determination. All you have to do now is develop the skill. Being a rough neck is great training grounds but don't settle for anything until you are on top. You have to believe in your self. I am no where near being the top affiliate marketer out there but I do believe one day with a lot of hard work I can be.
I Will Not Accept Excuses
Its always way to easy to say that I had to do this or I had to do this instead of actually doing what needs to be done. No excuses. There are many people out there with disabilities, past and present that have become very successful because they didn't use their disabilities as an excuse. Early on I had an excuse for everything until I stopped making them and then this and a lot of other things resulted in me finally making money at what I do.
We Will Always Have Fear Of Failure
Every person in the world will go through fear of failure. It's just how you handle it that will determine how you make out. Make sure your goals are set realistically. For example if you start affiliate marketing and set out to make a million dollars by next week then good bye because you will fail. But if you set out to make 20 bucks by next week and then gradually work it up every week then congratulations you should succeed. You can always change your goals a bit. Most importantly if you believe in yourself than you have less chance of failing.
Paying Your Dues
I don't care what you are doing. You can not start at the top of the ladder. You have to earn that privilege and how you do that is by paying your dues. You have to be patient with you and the people around you. Success does not come over night. Make sure you are always learning and working hard which are your dues. This will eventually get you to the top of the ladder.
Manage Your Time
Just remember time is something you can never get back. So one second wasted is one second lost. But it's also important to manage your time wisely. Set up some sort of schedule and keep to it the best you can. If your all over the place and doing things backwards then that really isn't very good management of time. Also something that is very important is to remember to schedule some time for your self. If you have play time scheduled then use it for that.
Well number 6 is done and I hope those of you who are reading these are finding them useful. Remember I said that I practice these with my affiliate marketing but they can be used for anything so go ahead and direct your friends and families to read this series.
