   Tradional Copywriting For Direct Response Vs. The Internet

If your strategy for copywriting for direct response doesn't integrate a website you are losing big time!

Gone are the days when copywriting for direct response packages was limited to the package you send in the mail. The Internet has changed the whole paradigm.

If you are just focusing on the mailing package, your ability to communicate with the potential customer is severely limited compared to what the Internet can do. Can your traditional approach to copywriting for direct response include audio? Can it include video? Can you do product demonstrations? Can you offer instant downloads of support material? You can't!

In order to get the most out of the money you are spending on a direct response mailing, you must integrate the Internet. Copywriting for direct response must do EVERYTHING possible to get the sale. You can't afford to ignore the Internet now.

Most, if not all of your target audience has easy access to the Internet and they use it! More and more people go to check out the website before they buy anything. It is part of their due diligence procedure.

If you don't have a website you lose credibility. As soon as you lose credibility, you lose the sale.

Of course, when you are copywriting for direct response you have to try to close the sale with the printed package. However, if the prospect needs more information you can now send them to a website where a whole range of possibilites opens up for you. If you couldn't close the sale the first time, you now get a second chance when they go to your website.

When copywriting for direct response is combined with copywriting for the Internet your response rate will go through the roof!

Imagine if you could get the response you currently get from your direct mail package and then a few days later you get another flurry of orders from all the people who went to your website for more information. Would that get you excited?

Now take this strategy to the next level. What would happen if you purposefully sent people to get "an additional bonus" by registering on your website? Now you have a highly targeted list of people who respond to the Internet. Now you have a whole range of additional opportunities for getting sales on the back end.

There is an extra bag of money waiting for you if you include the Internet when you are copywriting for direct response. Take an extra step to maximize your profits!
