Exclusive Interview: Stacy Kimball, 13th Survivor voted off

Stacy Kimball remained subtle for the most part of Survivor: Fiji but ended up as one of the toughest competitors on the program. Unfortunately, her efforts to linger on did not succeed, as she became the 13th contestant to be voted off the game. In an interview with BuddyTV, she spoke about her Survivor adventure.

Kimball, a 27-year old Interactive Internet Producer, grew up in Montpelier, Vermont and eventually moved to Miami at the age of 17. She studied at the Ai Miami International University, where she majored in Graphics Design.

Kimball was one of those contestants who where skimmed through MySpace. And when the chance of a lifetime presented itself, she immediately grabbed the opportunity, which seemed like fun. Upon embarking on the island, she brought with her a strategy, which appeared to work to her advantage. She appeared as though she was laying low and then she gradually unleashed her potential towards the end. She actually learned this from what she had observed in the previous seasons of Survivor wherein if the contestant showed great leadership potential in the beginning, the contestant usually gets kicked out first.

As for the Survivor's depiction of her, she thought that the show could have brought more light and clarity on certain situations just like in the French press coffee incident. She considered it something that should have been clarified on the show since it made her seem very rude to Dreamz. But in reality, her decision to not help him was just a result of his being a jerk to her. The food conservation incident also made her a bit mean.

Overall, she deemed her Survivor experience as something that enabled her to mature even further. She claimed that she had an amazing time and that she had nothing but positive things to say about the adventure show. She was pleased that she participated on Survivor and was glad to meet and interact with various types of people.
