Affiliate Project X was released in late 2006. It was successfully launched, and went on to become one of the best selling clickbank products, due to a very well written sales letter, a high affiliate commission, and a very well co-ordinated product launch. However, more often than not, successful launches are indication of a sub-standard product (details on this later). So does Affiliate Project X pass or fail?
While it will largely depend on your own level, for the most part, Affiliate Project X FAILS to deliver on what it promised. I could sell myself short and give you a link to Affiliate Project X, and make this an article of praise about Affiliate Project X just to earn the nice commission from a sales letter that converts well. However, the truth is that Affiliate Project X is not the best investment in my eyes, and if I won't recommend it to myself, I'm not going to be recommending it to someone else either.
Retailing for $97, Affiliate Project X promises to revolutionize internet marketing. A self proclaimed guru-killer, the Affiliate Project X actually falls flat on its face. Okay, maybe I'm being too hard on the program. Maybe there are a couple of things to be learned here. For example, you are told how to make commission off of putting up PPC ads, setting up mini-sites, using brand name targeting (a revisit to some of the techniques from Adwords Miracle is provided), and some other techniques. Really, there was not much new here that I learned. But then again, I'm doing well in affiliate marketing myself. Maybe it would be of great help to someone who is just beginning working online. Actually, I'm sure that Affiliate Project X could be of great help to them, but there are other programs like LITD and Ultimate Wealth Package that offer a lot more for a lot less. Then why would you go with Affiliate Project X
Affiliate Project X promises a lot, and delivers very little in comparison. There is nothing new being offered here. Yes, the author does give some good tips, and he does provide a good spin on some stuff, but nothing that I would pay for.
So where did Affiliate Project X go wrong? Exactly where most of the other programs that teach you how to make money go wrong - they're trying to make money off of you by selling it to you. That's why you end up wit hyped up sales letters, and no substance to programs. Why do you think so many people promoted Affiliate Project X? Because it really taught them how to make money online? Then why are they promoting it? If you found the secret to making money online, would you share it with the rest of the world and create competition for yourself for a measly $60? Nope. But if you knew a good sales letter when you saw one, you would promote Affiliate Project X. I didn't. And I know some other very good marketers who didn't promote it either, but many did, and destroyed their reputation by "milking their lists for all that they are worth".
Conclusion - Affiliate Project X is the perfect example of what to do if you want to make a ton of money - get a half-baked product ready in a week. Pay a copywriter to produce an incredible sales letter, and do a successful product launch. The only thing you can learn from the Affiliate Project X is how to write a good sales letter.
There is one important thing about Affiliate Project X though - if you're willing to invest time, money and effort, and follow the directions to the 'T', it is very possible that you will earn quite a bit. In fact, I think some very good information has been put together very well here. The problem is that the author doesn't mention that it takes a ton of time and money to get it done. For example, the 'Workhorse' method allows you to make $50-$200 a day without any investment. But it's the same thing that is in LITD. You can find some excellent information and a whole lot more in LITD
