What's the Best Way to Learn Spanish?

If there's one thing there's too much of it, it's courses that teach you Spanish! Free courses, pay courses, grammar courses, spelling courses, vocabulary courses, speaking courses...the list goes on and on. Fortunately, I've been able (FINALLY!) to find one that combines them all---that DOESN'T cost an arm and a leg (ie Rosetta Spanish!). That course is, of course, Rocket Spanish. Rocket Spanish gets our approval for a lot of things, but most of all for author and native Chilean speaker, Mauricio Evarlampieff's comprehensive coverage of everything from grammmar and writing skills, to spelling, vocabulary, and natural Spanish speaking. All in one, all easy to understand and apply. I personally learn best through interactive games and such (love technology!), but if you prefer to learn through reading a book, or listening to audio lessons, this course, thankfully, has all 3 learning options. It gives you detailed, colorful learning manuals; powerful audio lessons where you can hear a native Chilean speak proper Spanish; and through interactive games, such as flash cards, so that you can test and improve your overall command of the language. I found this to be a big relief, and a big learning aid. All 3 options work well and are easily done, without the mess of paper and audio cassettes. Additionally, Rocket Spanish shrewdly divides its audio, written, and interactive lessons into Beginner and Advanced segments, so that you can go at your own pace and learn what you need before jumping into advanced areas. Overall, it's a wonderful system for learning a fun, romantic language. My BuyOrTry recommendation? Well, if you really want to learn Spanish, fast, then a big fat BUY IT!
