Social Networks expanding - join now or lose $$$$$

The social network arena is growing by leaps and bounds. Most people only talk about "Myspace " as if it was the only game in town. True it is the current champ, but that doesn't mean you can't profit by marketing to this new and up coming stars.

I use Myspace and Friendster to promote my website: How to make money online

I even considered others. After all, even the "MOUSE" Disney has created a social network type website for kids. My duaghter is a member of some kiddie dress up doll site as well. Social networks are becoming the norm. Is that good or bad - we will see...

But my goal is to make money online, not to solve the worlds problems....

Social networks are a great place to "market product, website, and expand your online presence". Even the smaller networks can a good source of income for you.

As reported by: Techcrunch Quote: "Co-founder and CEO Greg Tseng told me today that the company has reached profitability on $600,000 in monthly revenues, and that user growth has spiked to 350,000 new users per day. That's well ahead of MySpace, which is currently growing by 250,000 - 300,000 users per day."

Some of the newer social networks you may not be familiar with are: Tagged, Bebo, Piczo, Orkut, Friendster ........... Social networks have become so important that Yahoo has even hired people just for that purpose: Yahoo press Quote:"Building on our strong bench of experts in search and economics, including Andrew Tomkins, Michael Schwartz and Ricardo Baeza-Yates, Yahoo! Research is now expanding that leadership into the social sciences of the web," said Prabhakar Raghavan, Head of Yahoo! Research. "By augmenting our team with experts of the stature of McAfee and Watts, we've successfully incorporated new areas into our research. This enables us to gain powerful insights from our audiences and answer complex questions in areas including search and information navigation, social media, community, personalization, and mobility."

Social networks can be a great source of traffic, and as we all know, traffic is king. Free traffic that can convert to sales is the best kind of traffic you can have. Yes, it's more work - I should know. Dealing with myspace and all the trouble you need to keep up and filter out wacko's from potential clients is difficult. But the rewards are great. Just ask Timmy who makes money with Myspace
