Would you like your website to feature in the top five of the natural listings in the major search engines? Are you interested in learning about the best ways to promote your site? Are you looking for web marketing techniques that work? I am quite confident that most webmasters would have answered yes to most, if not all of these questions. In this article, I am going to write about the ways in which I have successfully managed to achieve top five rankings for all of my keywords. I am sure that these methods can help other people to obtain their goal of reaching the top of the search engines, to ultimately increase their sales and to receive a lot more enquiries for their products.
If you are looking for some type of quick fix then I am sorry but there is not one. Perhaps if you have an unlimited amount of resources at your disposal, you could purchase your way to the top via purchasing some top quality backward links. This is however something that search engines advise against and could easily result in your site becoming banned, I would therefore suggest you concentrate on working hard and to follow by the guidelines which are set by search engines such as Google.
Backward links is in my opinion very important but these should be obtained in a natural way. Your content needs to be unique, fresh and of value to its readers. Other webmasters are likely to then want to link to your site as it would also be of value for their own visitors.
There are of course many ways to obtain these backward links. Writing articles on the theme of your site is one well known and popular form of web promotion. At the bottom of your article there will be a link to your sites to enable people to learn more about your products and service. By posting the article to a number of article directories, not only spreads your message around the net but allows other webmasters to include the article on their website, thus creating another backward link.
Writing only a handful of articles is not likely to have a huge impact but writing a few hundred is. Just ask people such as Lance Winslow who has written well in advance of ten thousand articles on ezinearticles. I am sure that he would not have written this many just for the pleasure of it. It works and whats more it does not cost any money.
I am not saying that you need to write a hundred articles per week, one a day will do. A lot of authors write around three hundred in the first three months and then lose patience. The trick is to attempt to write the same number per week for many many weeks. Over the long term your site will slowly but surely rise up the rankings and before you know it you will be top!
