Over the past few years online shopping has been well received by the consumer
and continues to grow at a healthy rate.

While one must be careful to only buy online from trusted merchants and websites there are advantages to buying olnine that many consumers favor.

The following are a few of the primary advantages of buying goods
and services from online stores:

1. Online stores often offer much lower prices than brick and mortar
stores. Since the overhead of running an online virtual shop are so
much less these savings can be passed through to the consumer.

2. Online stores often offer a far great range of goods than any
brick and mortar store.
3. Powerful online search engines allow customers to quickly find
what they are looking for.
4. In an age of high gasoline prices quite a lot of money can be saved by
not hopping into an automobile so often. Many online stores offer free
shipping with low levels of purchase requirements.
5. Shopping can be done discretely in the comfort of ones own home.
6. New technology makes shopping from quality merchants more
secure than by leaving a paper trail behind in a conventional store.
7. You can shop when you feel like it. Even at three o"clock in the morning. This is a huge
advantage for the merchant as well as his/her store is open 24/7.No doubt online shopping is here to stay.
With just a little common sense and caution applied online shopping is an enjoyable
experience for most customers.
8. Depending upon where you live and the nature of the transaction you may not pay
a sales tax on your transaction. This can be quite a savings
on those transactions that qualify.
9. You have a choice of thousands of quality merchants located all over the world.
If you can"t find what you are looking for online it probably hasn"t been made yet.
10. For many good folks shopping online is plainly a lot of fun. That alone should keep the growth rate of online transactions high for a long time to come.
