Logos are the first impression a customer gets about a company.
The logo is the business itself. No matter how simple or how
beautiful your logo is, the effect it has on people will
determine how effective your logo it. It is one way of having
credibility. Most often than not, logos make or make the
company. Making use of the best quality and competitive printing
company to design your logo is a must. Several factors are
needed to be kept in mind in logo making. There are also things
to avoid in making this. Here are some of those: Clipart in a
logo. This is not a good way of promoting your logo since clip
arts are common in most of the software. If you have seen it,
then other people should have seen it too. Special effects.
Using effects to enhance you logo may result in
undistinguishable concept that is more likely to confuse those
who will see it. They an also divert the attention from what you
are trying to implement. Put in mind that a good logo can stand
on its own even without these effects. Banner logos. Logos that
are designed to resemble a banner makes it harder for readers to
read the contents. People are after the contents and having it
inside a banner would be somewhat distracting. Graphic elements
into logos. Associating graphic elements into texts in the logos
to make them as one is not advisable because it because it is
difficult to do. Not only that if not done properly, it would
end up a disaster. Text as a logo. Logos that are text only
could not make that lasting an impression. Graphics are added to
make people remember it if they cannot remember the texts that
are written. If company’s only wanted texts, then they should
have the ones that can stand on its own and can make an
impression. Monograms. Credibility is not sure to be developed
with monograms. It can be considered a fun and unique thing in a
logo but the result does not always reflect what the company is
and its products. Multiple logos. These are logos comprising of
more than one illustration or texts. This can result in
confusion as customers will have to remember many things about
your logo that in the end nothing will surely makes sense. These
are just some of the no no’s in creating a logo. What should be
kept in mind in logo making is that the concept should be
conveyed just by looking at it. And it should be memorable
enough for the people not to forget it as days and even years go
by.
