Provide unquestionable proof that you can deliver everything you promise and you will have irresistable Internet copywriting.

Bob Serling says "the techniques you use to deliver your proof can make all the difference in the world. Substantial proof can kick your sales and profits into high gear. And it can also help to give you a real edge over your competition."

Up to this point in your Internet copywriting you have attracted your potential customer's attention, given a testimonial or three that shows you are for real, made them agonize in their pain and showed all the good things that will happen to them if they buy your product or service. These are the topics covered in steps 1 to 5 in previous articles.

If you have followed all the steps in sequence to this point, your prospect is now chomping at the bit to buy your product, but they are not quite ready yet. They are still uncertain about whether you are for real or whether your solution will work for them.

Despite the fact that you have demonstrated that you really understand what they are going through, in relation to their problem, your prospect still has some lingering doubts. If you can overcome these doubts your sales will go through the roof!

Every internet copywriting project must have testimonials. You need to provide specific testimonials in relation to each benefit claim you have made.

The ideal format is to have a sub-head in bold type addressing a benefit followed by a description of a "what life would be like if you bought my product", then a testimoninal or two showing a real person who says they got what was promised.

The more of these you can have the better. Each time you add a "reason why I would be interested" in the form of a benefit, you are building a stronger and stronger desire to buy. But a strong desire to solve their problem is not enough. People are afraid they will make a mistake. Testimonials help get people past their fears.

You need create both: a strong desire and the self confidence to take action. When the desire is burning strong, testimonials build up their confidence. Each time you add a testimonial that supports your benefit claim the self-confidence level increases. The more of these one-two punches you deliver, the more likely it is that you will make a sale.

Most people consider purchasing on the Internet as being quite risky. They don't know you, they don't know where your business is located and they have no reason to believe what you have to say...until you give them all this information. You need to build up their confidence in you before they will be willing to buy.

No one is going to buy something from you if they don't feel comfortable about your integrity. In order to have irresistible Internet copywriting you must prove every point you make.

In addition to using testimonials to build your credibility, irresistable Internet copywriting demands that you use specific facts and figures instead of generalizing. If they can verify what you are claiming from an independent authority, your credibility goes way up!

Provide copies of documents or certificates, statistics you have collected along with the sources, quotations from known people considered reliable in your field, etc. Anything you provide that absolutely proves what you are claiming will add to your credibility and give your buyer the confidence to make a decision.

If at all possible, include a video demonstrating your product in action. You can follow up your product video with a video testimonial of an actual client who used your product or service. A video demonstration followed by a video testimonial will blow your sales sky high.

Internet copywriting is more than just writing. The beauty of the medium is that you can include audio, video, slide shows, pictures, reference documents along with the basic written words to build pictures in your prospect's mind. Vivid, emotionally charged pictures created through words and other media will make your Internet copywriting absolutely irresistible.

Provide irrefutable proof and your Internet copywriting will sell like crazy.
