In some cases you do not need to own software in order to build a website.
My inital learning experiences are probably different from some people.
One of my mentors purchased a business opportunity for me in 2000, and this opportunity taught me how to build websites the easy way. It was a MLM-Networking Marketing Company- Shared Revenues that focused on having your own website and promoting your very own products and services.
In the opportunity we had access to a Web Site Builder that would walk you through step-by-step.
There was a template in place for you to type in your page title, another template for you to fill in if you wanted a guest book, hit counter and for you to choose the background for your page - website.
There were templates in place for you to choose your header color, type in your headear, choose your image or upload your image.
You had the option of typing in your text that you wanted to appear on your website.
You had the option of adding a horizontal line between each section on a page.
I believe that you could have four sections for each page.
There was a template provided for you to type in your email address and it would create a link on the web page.
There wwere sixteen pages and there were templates for you to type in the name of your links.
We were also taught to type in "Mega Tags," in the templates provided.
