Democrats Suspect Wind-Up Replica Of Bush In White House

22 Feb 2008 07:06:16
| Tom Attea

Democrats, having noticed that, no matter what they propose, President Bush does not alter what he says or does. They have also noticed that no matter how the American public votes, his behavior remains unaltered. They now think they have solved the riddle. George Bush has been replaced by a wind-up replica.

When challenged as to the credibility of the claim, Senator Harry Reid stated, "I just can't think of any other explanation. Day in and day out, he just keeps saying and doing the same things."

If the Democratic contention is correct, the question becomes, where is the real President Bush?

Senator Ted Kennedy speculated, "I believe he may have become a member of the Iraqi parliament."

"Why would he do that?" a reporter asked.

"I suppose he just wants to assure that at least one member would vote along lines that he agrees with."

"But if he had become a member of the Iraqi Parliament, surely we would know about," the reporter maintained.

"I understand he has disguised himself as a Muslim," Senator Schumer added.

"If the disguise continues to work," Kennedy went on, "there is some rumor that his long-term goal is to become the next President of Iraq, a position that might give him even more leverage."

"Do you know if he's disguised as a Shiite or a Sunni Muslim?" the reporter asked.

"I don't have the foggiest," Senator Reid commented. "Can you be a Christian Muslim?"
